CFL: WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS
SASKATCHEWAN@ HAMILTON: Thursday, July 19th 7:30PM:
The Roughies ride east to take on the Cats in the house of coffee and donuts. Both teams are coming off a bye last week. The last time these two clubs took to the field, they faced each other in Riderville, with the home squad celebrating a 18-13 victory. The Tiger-Cats will be looking to even the season series with a victory of their own on home turf. Hamilton by 5: 30-25.
B.C. @ Ottawa: Friday, July 20th 7:30PM:
Heading into this week's match-up there were two things the Redblacks didn't want to have happen in Week Four. The first was a repeat of their offensive performance two weeks ago in Calgary and the second was the second half awakening of both the offense and defense of the slumbering Lions. Unfortunately for the lumber crew, that is exactly what happened. So, the Lions roar into Ottawa with plenty of momentum on both sides of the ball, while the Redblacks nervously ponder which offense will take the field on Friday night. B.C. by 10: 25-15.
WINNIPEG @ TORONTO: Saturday, July 21st 4:00PM:
The Boatmen came up a tad short and a bit waterlogged by the driving rain in Edmonton last week, losing by a single point (16-15), while the Bombers flew into some turbulence in Vancouver, climbing to a 17-0 advantage in the first-half, only to have the Lions claw their way back into the contest and ground the Bombers with a 20-17 win. Toronto by 8: 28-20.
MONTREAL @ CALGARY: Saturday, July 21st 4:00PM:
Drew Willy will be back at helm of the Alouettes offense when Montreal heads west to take on the Stamps, who may be without Bo Levi Mitchell at quarterback for this contest in the Corral. Even if Mitchell is forced to sit this one out, Calgary is red-hot on both sides of the ball and should gallop away with a victory at home. Calgary by 12: 32-20.
