The Redblacks will have home field advantage in their effort to tame the hard-charging "Beasts in the East" and reclaim the top spot, while the Ti-Cats will be looking for the same result with a win on the road. Ottawa and Hamilton have been going in opposite directions coming into this week's action and are tied for top spot in the East. The Redblacks have lost two straight and have a 4-3 record at home. The Ti-Cats have won two straight and are currently 4-4 on the road this season. The Redblacks won the previous meeting between the two clubs this season, 21-15 in Hamilton. Ottawa by 10: 28-18

The night-cap on Friday features two teams tied for the basement in the West so both squads will be fighting hard for a victory to remain in the playoff picture. B.C. and Edmonton are currently tied with sixteen points, two points behind third place Winnipeg in the Western Division standings, but B.C. has a game in hand over both Winnipeg and Edmonton. B.C. has won two straight and Edmonton is coming off a victory over Ottawa last week at Commonwealth. The two teams split their two previous meetings this season with Edmonton outscoring the Lions by a combined total of 64-53. Edmonton by 8: 29-21

Saturday's double-header action kicks off with the battle of the Eastern basement between two clubs that have had disastrous 2018 campaigns. Both squads are in the throes of extended losing streaks. The Als have lost four straight and the Argos have topped that mark by losing seven straight games. The Als are currently 2-5 on the road this season while the Argos are 3-5 at home. Montreal won the previous meeting this season 25-22 at home. Toronto by 6: 26-20.
SASKATCHEWAN @ CALGARY: Saturday, October 20th 7:00PM:
The Saturday evening tilt features the top two teams in the West. Both teams have clinched a playoff berth and both teams are coming off a loss last week. Calgary has lost just once at home this season and the Roughriders are 5-3 on the road. The two teams split the two previous games this season with the Riders edging the Stamps 62-61 in combined scoring. Calgary by 5: 32-27
